Design-DistrictThe Upper King Design District’s Fall Design Walk is already generating a buzz as Charleston’s finest get ready to open their doors for the annual showcase. This year Design Walk kicks off with a concert by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra at the beautiful William Aiken House from 5:15-5:45.

If you’ve been to Design Walk before, you already know how inspiring, beautiful and fun the evening can be. If you haven’t–mark your caledar and make this your year!

Read, launched nationally in 2006 by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and Arts Midwest, encourages literary reading by asking communities to come together to read and discuss a single book.

An inventive comedy centered around the Ten Commandments starring Adam Brody, Rob Corrdry, Famke Janssen, Kerry Kenney-Silver, Ken Marino, Gretchen Mol, Oliver Platt, Paul Rudd, Winona Ryder, Liev Schreiber, Justin Theroux and Jessica Alba. It features intertwining vignettes, each based on the trangression of one of the commandments.
