2007 Beaujolais Nouveau – Amelia Island, Florida

Continuing an enduring tradition, The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will celebrate the arrival of the 2007 Beaujolais Nouveau with a lavish fete on November 15th at 5 p.m. In the years since the annual event began, the resort has staged the wine’s arrival by parachute and pirate ship. In a new twist, this fall the Beaujolais Nouveau will debut alongside a lineup of all new 2008 Mercedes Benz automobiles.

Amelia Island Art Festival – Fernandina, Florida

On Veteran’s Day weekend, November 10th and 11th, 2007 downtown Fernandina Beach will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery. All day Saturday and Sunday, over 150 artists from across the nation will gather for the 1st Annual Amelia Island Art Festival. The fine art on display will include a broad spectrum of media: copper scultpures, handcrafted fine jewelry, functional and decorative pottery, original paintings, photography and more. 6th Annual Charity Oktoberfest – St. Augustine, Florida

Rev up your fall at the Annual Charity Oktoberfest Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 at the World Golf Village. See more than 100 European automobiles, motorcycles and racecars from national and local car clubs as well as private investment collections. The show takes place along the World Golf Hall of Fame’s Walk of Champions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the auto classics on display, there will be plenty of European-style food and an Umpah band. Oktoberfest is free and open to the public.
