Holiday Fundraiser Exhibition at Indigo Sky Community Gallery – Savannah, Georgia

The First Annual Holiday Fundraiser Exhibition at Indigo Sky Community Gallery will feature for sale the works of such established Savannah artists as Luther Vann, Judy Mooney and Jerome Meadows along with SCAD professors and Alumni and other outstanding artists working in a variety of media. Gift buyers as well as fine art collectors will experience a new and exciting selection of quality artwork while supporting local artists as well as this grassroots gallery. In addition, works of art created by children in previous workshops sponsored by the Gallery will also be available for sale. Artworks can be taken at the time of purchase. The art sale will be held for three consecutive weekends, with a reception Saturday, December 1st, 1pm to 4 pm. Refreshments will be served.

The First Annual Holiday Fundraiser Exhibition dates and hours are:
Saturdays: 10am – 5 pm
Sundays: 11am – 5 pm

Jazz Yule Love – Savannah, Georgia

Jazz-up the spirit of this holiday season in Savannah by attending the 32nd Annual CJA Jazz Holiday Concert and Jam Session. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. to listen to Teddy Adams and his All-Stars featuring Huxsie Scott on vocals and some of the best musicians in the Coastal Empire.

Dark of the Moon Tour at the Lighthouse – St Augustine, Florida

December 26th – 30th the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum will offer the Dark of the Moon Tour starting at 7:30 p.m.
This hour and a half long tour allows visitors to venture into the Keepers’ House and Tower at night, learn about the history of the St. Augustine Light Station, listen to paranormal tales, and experience darkness inside the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
Space is limited and reservations are required. To reserve your space call Faith at (904) 829-0745 x-207. The cost is $25 per adult and $20 per child. All reservations must be cancelled 24-hours in advance. Children must be at least 7 years old and 44 inches tall to climb the tower.

28th Annual Parade of Boats floats into Charleston, SC

Charleston, SC (PRWEB) November 20, 2007 — Thousands of spectators will be on hand to view the procession of festive boats lighting the waterfront from Mount Pleasant to Charleston on December 1. The floating parade allows boat owners to show off their best decorating skills with prizes awarded in several categories, including Best in Show. The parade starts at approximately 5:30 p.m. and ends at approximately 7:30 p.m., depending on wind and current. A spectacular fireworks display shot from historic Charleston Harbor will occur at the mid point. Participating crews are invited to the Captain’s Party (date, time and location to be announced).
