The Savannah Arts Academy is hosting it’s annual student Film Festival on Friday May 2, 2008 beginning with a silent auction at 5:30 pm, follwed by a red carpet reception at 6:00 pm and film screenings beginning at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for students. All proceeds benefit the Savannah Arts Academy.

April 29, 2008, Summerville, SC – The third annual Golden Age of Summerville Festival held Friday, April 25 through Sunday, April 27 attracted visitors from across the nation, and in some cases, the ocean. Hosted by Summerville D.R.E.A.M. (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and Management) and brought together by a steering committee comprised of residents, merchants and community leaders, the festival strived to raise awareness of Historic Downtown Summerville.
Gallery Art Walk, Local Delicacies. Art On Third, Car Show on Laurel. Coastal Big Band, George Davis Blues Project, Kat Daniels and his Rhythm Kings, Arlin Strader Quartet, Bernie Kenerson Group and Lynn Roberts.
