Hay Days – St. Marys, GA

The annual fall tradition The Hay Days in St. Marys begins on October 13th in downtown. Scarecrows will be displayed in the downtown area during Hay Days, October 13 – November 3, 2007

You can even come out and build your own scarecrow to take home or put on display downtown! Bring out your whole gang for some creative fall fun. When you register, you will receive a “Scarecrow Kit” for $20 (in advance $25 at door, if available) that will contain everything you need to build your own.
Registration is encouraged – this activity is limited to the first 50 participants. Call 912-882-8111 to register.

Scarecrow Stroll
Tuesday Oct 16, 5 PM – 7 PM
Come out and see the downtown transformed with the magic of fall colors with pumpkins, scarecrows, hay bales and mums. Enjoy “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” at our first Screens on the Green at Orange Hall. Costumes encouraged! Call 912-882-8111 for more information.

Meet the author of “Backstage with Julia: My Years With Julia Child” – Savannah, GA

Nancy Verde Barr, executive chef and close friend of Julia Child for more than 20 years, will sign copies of her newly released book, “Backstage with Julia: My Years With Julia Child.” This event is sponsored by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church,Tickets: $40 per person. Fossil, Gem & Mineral Day – Charleston, S.C.
