The Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Show, sponsored by the Greater Nassau County Chamber of Commerce, takes place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 1 in the parking lot of Southeastern Bank on US 1 in Callahan. “The 12 Days of Christmas” parade will start promptly at 11 a.m.
Following the craft show, the West Nassau Historical Society invites everyone to a “Christmas Open House at the Callahan Depot” from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Enjoy refreshments and listen to live entertainment by Callahan’s own Liz Mobley, Ray Williams and Robin Kinsey.

Get in the holiday spirit with the annual community parade, “Christmas Boats and Floats for the Kids”! Come and enjoy the fun as the Murrells Inlet Christmas parade starts at Willcox Avenue and marches down Business 17. Immediately following the parade, meet at Morse Landing Park with Santa and the gang. Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with the children at the park. The Christmas tree will be lit and the Eagle Scouts will man a bonfire to take the nip out of the air. The Seaside Elementary School, Heaven’s Gate, Brown Chapel, Living Waters and Jim Whitlow choirs will entertain the crowd at the park. This event is a must-do for all the kids and the grown-ups who still have a lot of kid left in them.
