First Friday Art Walk – St Augustine, Florida

Join one of St. Augustine’s most popular cultural events on the first Friday of every month from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy the latest exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at over 20 participating galleries. Tours begin at Rembrandtz Fine Gifts for Fun People, 131 King Street. St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys offer attendees a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries. Clothes to Dye For: Curator-Led Tour – Charleston, South Carolina

Join the curator of Clothes to Dye For: Colorful Textiles from the Charleston Museum Collection or Museum staff for a guided tour of the exhibit. Learn about four centuries of garments worn by Charlestonians and dyeing processes used to achieve these rich shades and hues. These curator-led tours of Clothes to Dye For are available the first Thursday of the month throughout the exhibit run.

Volunteer for the Dolphin Project – Savannah, Georgia

The Dolphin Project needs volunteers to collect data and photograph the dorsal fins of Coastal Georgia dolphins for research. Especially needed are boats and their captains for quarterly surveys. Enjoy wonderful weekends on the water, with great people and Georgia dolphins! Required, basic 90-minute training sessions will be held at Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah on March 8th at 9:00AM. Training is required for the next TDP survey scheduled for April 19-20th.
