We would like to partner with talented writers, bloggers, photographers and videographers who understand what it means to love the coast.
We are interested in stories about the coastal lifestyle; where to go, what to see and what to do. We’re especially interested in finding Guest bloggers to write about gardening, home, arts, theater, film, crafts, nature, golf or other topics that would interest our readers.
What We’re Looking For
Articles should be between 400 and 1200 words. Stories should relate in some way to our region (coastal South Carolina, Georgia, Northeast Florida). The articles might be considered for other websites in our group throughout the United States and may be available to more than one website at a time. We will of course let you know exactly where your story has been published. We also will accept photos, multimedia or video. Please contact us before submitting for detailed information about requirements etc.
What’s In It For You
In return, we will provide a 50 word by-line (with thumbnail photo) which can include a link to your personal site if you like. (Yes, you get a backlink!)
At this time, we do not pay for articles or photos.
To become part of the Coastal Companion community, means exposure to you and your by-line. This can be an excellent way to find a new audience for your blog our an outlet for your creativity. It’s a great way to build a portfolio!
