Festival of the Arts Tybee Island
The Festival of Arts takes place on Tybee Island, Georgia every fall. The festival weekend will including painters, jewelers, potters, woodworkers, photographers, and weavers from throughout the Southeast. Many artists will demonstrate at their booths.
You can also enjoy live music and entertainment, culinary delights, and spirits.
This year the Tybee Island Festival of the Arts takes place October 17 – 18, 2009. The festival is open from 10:00am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, 10:00 am -6:00 pm on Sunday, rain or shine.
The festival is located across from the Strand in the South Beach Parking Lot
This year the festival has moved to a new location, it has bigger prizes than ever and showcases more artists! Entries will be juried for cash awards on Saturday morning. No charge to the public. Profits from this event go to TyArts Youth Scholarship fund.
