The 52nd Annual Can-Am Days Festival takes place in Myrtle Beach, SC, March 9 – 17, 2013.
Every year Myrtle Beach welcomes its visitors from the North to the Canadian-American Day with a expressive lineup of events, giveaways, and concerts throughout the Grand Strand.
Canadian-American Days draws as many as 100,000 Canadian visitors and snowbirds. The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce introduced Canada Days in 1961 to attract Canadian families during their spring school break. This lively festival has grown into a celebration not only for visiting Canadians, but for everyone in the Myrtle Beach area. It is regarded as the first international festival organized in South Carolina.
· Wednesday, March 13 – 12:00 p.m., North Strand’s Can-Am Celebration at Myrtle Beach Mall. The musical group Searson will provide live entertainment. Admission is free.
· Thursday, March 14 – 12:00 p.m., South Strand’s Can-Am Celebration at Inlet Square Mall. The musical group Searson will provide live entertainment. Admission is free.
· Friday, March 15 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – 52nd Annual Canadian-American Days Festival Expo at Coastal Grand Mall. Free admission and live entertainment.
