Art Garfunkel Comes to Charleston – North Charleston, South Carolina

Blessed with what the New York Times described as a “beautiful countertenor,” singer ART GARFUNKEL has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of the unrivaled Simon & Garfunkel.  His clear and resonant voice is surely one of the finest instruments in all of popular music and a time-honored friend to a world of listeners. He has also enjoyed a successful film career, published a book of poetry and just released his 12th solo album, SOME ENCHANTED EVENING.  Finally, he comes to the Lowcountry for one night only on Saturday, February 9 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.

Learn important facts from South Carolina’s history with a guided-tour of the Museum. The second Tuesday of every month we offer a special program for home schooling families. These programs feature one of our field trip classes, a chance to go through the Museum, and an activity. Please call or email to reserve a space. History Girl Party- 1944 – Charleston, South Carolina

Come to The Charleston Museum to participate in crafts and games relating to a young girls life on the American home front during World War II. You may bring your doll or dress up if you like. Reservations are required and children must be accompanied by an adult. $10/Museum members, $12/Non-members (price includes one chaperone).
