The weekend-long event, which will be held February 15-17, 2008 in Jacksonville Beach, will include a health expo, community celebration event, VIP event, marathon, half marathon and fun-run. The event benefits the Mayo Clinic and women living with breast cancer.

This program is designed especially for preschoolers ages 3-5 and their adult companions. Your toddler will explore artwork from both our permanent and temporary exhibitions followed by a visit to the new Jepson Education Studios for a fun-filled art project relating to their tour. Colors, shapes, and material vocabulary will be encouraged. Each month will involve a different tour and project. Time to play in ArtZeum is included. Bring the masterpieces home and see your child smile with creative pride! Registration and adult supervision required. Please call Torrey Stifel, Studio Coordinator at 790-8823 to register. Pre-payment can be arranged for your convenience.

The University of Florida Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience is pleased to present the next Evenings at Whitney public lecture titled “Reconstructing Human Migrations: Projects from the Americas and from Africaâ€.
In conjunction with the Savannah Music Festival, the museum is pleased to bring you Jepson Live, featuring jazz guitar by the Barry Greene Trio on December 14th. Presented by The Savannah Bank, the new monthly series features live music at the Jepson Center for the Arts on the second Friday of each month.
