The bEYEcycle photography competition was a success. The exhibition continues until Aug 31 and features works from some 30 photographers in and around the city of Charleston. The competition was created in support of bicycle awareness in Charleston and to acknowledge the importance of creating a city friendly to cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike.

Secrets of the Salt Marsh – Huntington Island State Park, South Carolina
“It stinks – nothing but mosquitoes! Eeew!” Actually, the salt marsh is a lot more than a breeding ground for mosquitoes, it is a key element to the coastal environment. Join us for a closer look at one of the most productive systems in the world. The closer you look, the more you will see. You may even see the world of the salt marsh a little differently after this walk.

Concert in the Plaza – St Augustine, Florida
Bring your chair and for the last time this season enjoy an evening jazz concert in St. Augustine’s Plaza de la Constitucion under a canopy of live oaks. St. Augustine Jazz Society will present ET Swings, The Thing Quartet and Nightfall from 1 to 5 p.m. This final concert of the series is free to the public.
