Dinner and a Movie Additional Screening – St Augustine

This popular event is sold out for Monday, but an additional screening for September 29th has been added! Enjoy a fun evening at the movies and great food while helping raise funds and awareness through arts and culture in St. Johns County. The screening of the movie Paris Je T’aime (Rated R) is a story of love from the City of Love starring Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, Christina Ricci, Kevin Bacon and many others. The two-hour film consists of eighteen short films directed by 21 directors including greats such as Joel and Ethan Coen, Wes Craven, Alfonso Cuarón, Alexander Payne, Gus Van Sant.

Hours: doors open at 6:00 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Admission: admission is $25 and includes dinner, the movie and a contribution to the St. Johns County Cultural Council

They hope to seduce two ladies of status and fortune, but true love and a band of thieves soon complicate their scheming. For more than a century, The Beaux’ Stratagem, written in 1707 by George Farquhar, was one of the most frequently performed English comedies, enjoying constant revivals. Recently rediscovered, this classic boasts an adaptation begun by Thornton Wilder and completed 65 years later by Tony Award-nominated playwright Ken Ludwig.
