Activities planned are Public Safety Vehicles display (police cars, fire trucks and more), Best Baked Apple Pie Contest, Parent-Child Look Alike Contest, Fun for the Kids crafts area, music, and an arts and crafts show. Join in the evening parade at 7:30 p.m. through downtown Fernandina Beach, followed by a concert, starting at 8:30 p.m. and fireworks at dark, courtesy of the City of Fernandina Beach. Directions: I-26 to downtown Charleston. Take Hwy. 17 South to Folly Road (Hwy. 161). Go to the end of Folly Road (about 15 minute drive) to get to the beach. Find a place to park (this is the true challenge) and enjoy.
