The Annual Park Day Festival takes place at Daniel Island on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Now in its seventh year, this “day of giving†has become a fall tradition not to miss! The community will showcase its civic pride and philanthropic spirit.
The 20th Annual Town of Mt. Pleasant Children’s Day Festival on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Park West Recreation Complex in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The event will run from noon to 5 p.m. and admission is free. Since this festival is FOR kids, it is packed with a long list of exciting activities for the young ones.
Climbing wall, inflatables, sports games, face painting, entertainers, petting zoo and pony rides. Special performances will be given by local dance and gymnastics academies, fencing and karate schools and cheerleading squads. Also, unicyclist and juggler Mark Lippard, King of Kazoo Rick Hubbard, Magician Ken Carrington will perform, and there will be a special appearance by Roarks Reptiles.

Please join us for the 4th Annual Lowcountry Buddy Walk, Etiwan Park, Daniel Island. This year’s walk will be an afternoon filled with fantastic fun for the young and old.
Everything at the walk is included in the cost of your registration. Rest on your blankets under our tents. Enjoy the Knights of Columbus’s delicious hotdogs as well as snow cones and snacks provided by local businesses. Take home a tee-shirt, have your face painted, and enjoy lots of jump castles.
Check out the amazing talents of our friends with Down Syndrome and support them by parading through Daniel Island. At the end of the day, you will take home fond memories as well as a new or renewed appreciation for all the amazing people in our community with Down Syndrome.
Your support of the Buddy Walk will help provide programs such as baby packets for families of new babies with Down Syndrome, education for families and professionals and self-advocacy programs.
