Jekyll Island Revitalization Project Public Meetings – Atlanta, Georgia

Sunset/Moonrise River Cruise – St Augustine, Florida

28th Annual Charleston Parade of Boats – Charleston, South Carolina

Get on board with a Lowcountry holiday tradition as this display of lighted and festive boats proceeds from the Cooper River, through the Charleston Harbor and into the Ashley River, culminating in a brilliant fireworks display over the harbor. Jekyll Island Revitalization Project Public Meetings on Wednesday, Nov 14th

Another meeting has been added for Jekyll Island, tomorrow November 14th at 7 p.m. So there will be TWO meetings on Jekyll tomorrow, 3:30 pm or 7 pm. Additional Public Input Session on Jekyll Island

The Jekyll Island Authority and Linger Longer Communities are pleased to announce they will host an additional public input session on the future of Jekyll Island. This session will be held at 7 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center on Tuesday, November 14.

This will offer coastal residents three opportunities on November 14 to provide input at meetings on the project: at 9:30 a.m. at the HeritageBank Community Center in St. Mary’s; at 3:30 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center; and at 7 p.m. at the Jekyll Island Convention Center.
Additional sessions are planned in Augusta and Atlanta. Those who are unable to attend any of the sessions are encouraged to visit www.rediscoverjekyll.com or call (888) 854-6437 to provide feedback on the revitalization plans.

Jekyll Island Revitalization Public Input Meetings

Georgians interested in the future of Jekyll Island, Georgia, will have multiple opportunities to preview and comment on plans for revitalizing the Jekyll Island Town Center.

Jekyll Island
Nov. 14, 3:30 p.m
Jekyll Island Convention Center, Jekyll Island

Augusta
Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m.
The Knox Room at the National Science Center’s Fort Discovery

Atlanta
Nov. 20, 3:30 p.m.
Cobb Galleria Center, Cobb Parkway and Galleria Drive

“Since our selection as the Jekyll Island Authority’s private development partner, we have been listening to what Georgians envision for the future of Jekyll Island,” said Jim Langford, project executive for Linger Longer Communities. “We have already received significant feedback through our Web site at www.rediscoverjekyll.com and appreciate the strong support, creative ideas and input we are receiving. We look forward to hearing more from the public once they have the opportunity to review our plans.”
