Mount Pleasant Christmas Tree Lighting – Charleston, SC

Christmas in Love ...Mount Pleasant Towne Centre hosts its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony to kick off the holiday season.  The ceremony will be located in front of the Belk Department store. This event is partnered with WEZL radio station, and the morning show talent Gary, will host the event. The American Red Cross will be having a Blood Drive from 4-6pm in conjunction with the Tree Lighting. Horse Drawn Carriage rides will start this weekend. Frolic on Broughton Street in a festive atmosphere and get in the spirit of the season with outdoor ice skating, snow, children’s activities, an elegant marketplace and live entertainment for the entire family. In conjunction with the Frolic, The Lucas Theatre will continue the tradition of showing holiday movies with Elf and Miracle on 34th Street. Free parking and food for purchase will be available as well as special hotel offers.

Holiday Tea with Mrs. Claus – St. Augustine, FL

This tea party is offered to children ages 5-7 and includes a sharing Christmas wish list session, storytelling featuring “The Reindeer Christmas”, an arts and crafts project, a souvenir photograph of Mrs. Claus, a Christmas stocking filled with goodies and of course tea and cookies. Tea party times are 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Stuffed animal companions are welcome. The tea party is $15 per child and includes park admission.
