During the Australia Day Challenge,The British Leeds Rhinos met Australia’s South Sydney Rabbitohs at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Co-owner of the Rabbitohs, actor Russell Crowe, was of course present, but he was far from the only celebrity at the rugby game. The Teutuls from Orange County Choppers (OCC) and the TV series American Chopper showed up and presented a very special motorcycle to Crowe. hoopsydaisy nude camifer123 Famous golfer Greg Norman and surfer Lane Beachley were also present. Despite the rainy weather, the stadium was packed. The fans got to experience an exciting game of world class rugby. The Rabbitohs had great support in the stands, but in the end the 2007 Super League Champions Leeds Rhinos won 26-24.

New Beginnings Youth Art Exhibition to Showcase Local Talent – Savannah, GA
The works of local middle and high school students will be showcased at the City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs’ Gallery S.P.A.C.E. from Feb. 4 through 22 during the seventh annual New Beginnings Youth Art Exhibition.
Works on display will focus on the 2008 Savannah Black Heritage Festival theme, “Yesterday’s Story, Today’s Legacy.” The juried exhibition is presented by the Savannah chapter of The Links, Inc., a volunteer organization committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture of African Americans.

Select vocalists vie for more than $30,000 in cash awards and other prizes in four-day event
SAVANNAH, Georgia – The 15th annual American Traditions Competition returns to its original venue, the historic First African Baptist Church, for this year’s final round at Savannah Music Festival. The illustrious four-day vocal showcase hosts 33 singers from around the United States between March 26 and 29, 2008. Judges narrowed the field of talent to these gifted vocalists after receiving the greatest number of applicants in the last five years.
