Following the success of the inaugural LPGA Ginn OPEN at Reunion Resort & Club near Orlando, Ginn Resorts created a new division Ginn Sports Entertainment to manage the company’s growing interest in professional golf tournaments. One of the first tournaments added was the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika Sorenstam featuring a $2.6 million purse and television coverage by NBC Sports.
