Country Fair Family Fun Event
Come enjoy some great summer fun at The Charleston Museum on Saturday, July 7, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Bring the family and recall the enjoyment of a country fair with a modern twist.

Activities include face painting, exotic birds, and camel rides. Crafts include sand art bracelets, decorating a paddle game, spin art, and fishing for prizes. Eudora Farms Animals from Around the World petting zoo will be here with a wallaby, goats, cows, and more. This event is FREE for Museum members and free with admission ($10/adults, $5/children, 3 and under FREE).

Each month The Charleston Museum offers a Family Fun Event, a special Saturday program dedicated to providing an educational and exciting experience for the whole family. Join us each month for a different themed event including presentations and craft projects for children of all ages. Themes include archaeology, historic crafts, animals, and more.

The Charleston Museum, founded in 1773, is America’s first museum. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Holding the most extensive collection of South Carolina cultural and scientific collections in the nation, it also owns two National Historic Landmark houses, the Heyward-Washington House (1773), the Joseph Manigault House (1803) and the Dill Sanctuary, a 580-acre wildlife preserve. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
