On Saturday, July 14 at 2:00 pm, experience Georgia’s early colonial history on the grounds of the Horton House Historic Site on Jekyll Island.

Interpreters dressed as British soldiers and indentured servants will tell us what life was like during Major William Horton’s occupation of Jekyll Island in the mid-1700s.  Learn about early colonial history through a fun and educational event for the whole family presented by
Fort Frederica National Monument and the Jekyll Island Museum . There will also be musket demonstrations, children’s games, and food and drink.
