July 18, 2007
7:00 pmto9:00 pm

Don’t miss the opportunity to see some of the most artful thought-provoking films of our time followed by a special guest speaker. Eleven-year-old Akeelah Anderson’s life is not easy: her father is dead; her mom ignores her and her brother runs with the local gang bangers. She’s smart, but her environment threatens to strangle her aspirations.
Admission is free. 7 pm. July 18, 2007

Museum of Contemporary Art, 333 North Laura Street, Jacksonville
