Experience a visual journey from the highest peaks to the deepest oceans – pole to pole across the Earth at the GTM Research Reserve Environmental Education Center. “Planet Earth – Saving Species†will be shown on the big screen at 10 am and 1 pm Saturdays and Sundays during July at the Center’s auditorium.

GETTING TO KNOW A GATOR
This program from Gatorland will feature 2 gators, a hatchling and 3-4 footer. You will learn about alligator folklore, their habits, and have an opportunity to touch and hold a gator!

Whitewater Quick Start Class – Charleston, South Carolina
Learn the basic strokes & rescues that will improve any paddler’s skills. Although designed for those wishing to participate in the Adventure Camp Canoe II or Kayak II sessions, all are welcome.

An evening lecture and beach walk to educate participants about the threatened loggerhead sea turtle. Presentation to entire group and then 2 groups of 10 proceed to the beach to examine the nesting habitat and nest sites.
