Turtle Race at Summer Waves – Jekyll Island, Georgia

Watch your turtles go in support of the Sea Turtle Center! Here’s a different spin on the traditional rubber duck race – a rubber turtle race down Turtle Creek, sound like great fun for the whole family. Get your turtles at the Jekyll Island Welcome Center or Summer Waves for $2 (proceeds go to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center). The Turtle Race starts at 3 p.m.
