The Beaufort Shrimp Festival is set for October 5-6, 2007, in historic downtown Beaufort. There will also be a 5K race, a kid’s race (The Popcorn Shrimp Race) and the Walk Through History. Plenty of shrimp to taste or to buy from local shrimpers to cook at home.
