Annual Big Band Concert - Savannah, GA

In partnership with the City of Savannah Golden Age Program, the Coastal Jazz Association will present a special concert featuring the Savannah Jazz Orchestra for Senior Citizens which will be held at the Savannah Civic Center (Montgomery @ Liberty) beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2007 .
The concert is presented free through a generous grant from the City of Savannah Cultural Affairs Department.
The Savannah Jazz Orchestra, is a 16-piece big band including trumpets, trombones, saxophones, piano, bass and drums. It is comprized of the region’s top musicians, under the co-leadership of trombonist, Teddy Adams and saxophonist, Randy Reese.
A pre-concert dinner is available for a small charge by calling 912-651-6777 in advance of the event.
