The BB&T Charleston Food + Wine Festival and Charleston magazine are excited to announce that Jason Fletcher has been selected as the winner of the Official Poster Competition for the event. Jason Fletcher of Charleston is a graphic artist at The Post and Courier. Fletcher will receive a $1,000 check for his winning design, and his work will be featured on retail items and storefront windows across the city. He will also receive recognition in the December issue of Charleston magazine.
With more than 40 entries, Jason’s design was selected for its articulation of the festival concept, gourmand food and wine. “I wanted to create something that visually combined food and wine in a simple way, but still had a little depth to it. Something that would be easy, interesting and offer an immediate read,†said Fletcher when asked about his design concept.
