MYRTLE BEACH, SC – (December, 2007) – Ripley’s Attractions of Myrtle Beach are featuring a South Carolina Appreciation month throughout December. Everyone showing proof of South Carolina residency through December 31 will receive half price admission to Ripley’s Aquarium, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Ripley’s Moving Theater and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure.
In addition to the notable collection of marine animals, during December the aquarium is hosting the Festival of Trees, a festive holiday celebration which features more than 50 beautifully decorated Christmas Trees. Continuing through the month is the popular special exhibit, Pirates! Predators of the Sea! The aquarium, located at Broadway at the Beach, is open daily at 9 a.m. including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, Ripley’s Moving Theater and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, all located on the boulevard, are open daily at 10 a.m. including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years. Ripley’s Haunted Adventure opens at 2 p.m. daily. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will have on display a Christmas tree with hand made ornaments with a Believe It or Not feel, Ripley’s Moving Theater will be offering the holiday motion movie “Santa’s Late†while Ripley’s Haunted Adventure will have “Frightmare Before Christmas†where one will witness the elves going berserk and chasing Santa around the three story haunted house.
