The Rocky Horror Show – Savannah, Georgia

January 27, 2008 by Susanne Talentino

Rocky Horror 2007 shattered attendance records and blew Savannah’s mind. So we thought we’d do it again. At the beautiful Lucas Theatre. The crown gem of cult musicals, The Rocky Horror Show is the story of mad scientist transvestite Frank ‘N’ Furter and his associates, who are conducting dangerous experimentation into the creation of human beings. Two young innocent lovers, Brad and Janet, stumble into this world – one where the unexpected is normal and nothing is forbidden.

This musical and its wildly successful film adaptation have been thrilling audiences for 30 years with famous tunes like The Time Warp and Over At The Frankenstein Place.   This production will feature the entire Rocky Horror 2007 cast of 20 and its band, and will once again be directed by Jeffrey DeVincent with stage management by Miguel Mendiola, production design by Danica Leigh, and musical direction by Ryan McCurdy. This production is produced as a fundraiser for Equality Foundation of Georgia by Savannah Actor’s Theatre.

Showing at the Lucas Theatre on Saturday, February 9th at 8 p.m.. Presented by Savannah Actor’s Theatre and the Equality Foundation of Georgia. All tickets are $15 and are on sale NOW by calling 912.525.5050
