The championship is a premier women’s professional tennis tournament, part of the worldwide Sony Ericsson WTA Tour. In 2008, the tournament returns for a 29th consecutive year to the picturesque oceanfront resort of Amelia Island Plantation on Amelia Island, Florida. The tournament on April 7-13, 2008 will feature many of the top players and up-and-coming stars in the game, and is one of the most anticipated stops on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour for both players and fans.

Dancing with the Local Stars – St Augustine, Florida
Local celebrities take to the stage and show their moves at the Fountain of Youth located in St. Augustine during this fun fundraiser for the Donna Hicken Foundation.
