Plan for a night of mystery, laughter, and MURDER as the Kings Inn Bed & Breakfast, 207 Central Avenue, Summerville, hosts a Murder Mystery Comedy Dinner Theatre Night on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Dinner guests will witness a crime and solve a mystery!
Dinner guests are encouraged (though not required) to wear Flapper and Gangster costumes to this Roaring Twenties “funeralâ€. The year is 1928. Vito “The Gut” Marzetti has been gunned down in a Chinese restaurant during his third helping of Moo Goo Gai Pan. The Killer is still out there as the Friends and Family of the Marzetti Mob gather to pay the last respects at this, A Funeral For A Gangster!
An Italian “Family†style dinner will be served as the cast of The Showoffs, a professional acting troupe from Anderson, SC, performs this Murder Mystery Comedy (rated PG-13). Alcohol is prohibited of course due to prohibition, however, if you are daring, you may BYOB (brown bags suggested).
The mystery and dinner will take place in the Kings Inn gardens, transformed this evening into a 1920’s Speakeasy, with live 1920’s Jazz entertainment throughout the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner is served at 7 p.m. sharp! The Total Cost is $45 per person including tax and gratuity payable at the time of reservation. Call 843-486-0419 to reserve seating. Space is limited. All major credit cards are accepted. In case of rain, the show will be performed on Sunday, March 30 beginning at 6 p.m. Call Kings Inn in case of inclement weather for confirmation.
