Free Concert at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church - Charleston, South Carolina

The Youth Orchestra of the Lowcountry, also known as YoLow, and the College of Charleston Wind Ensemble will present a free concert on Sunday, April 6th at 4:00 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 405 King Street. Richard Marcus will conduct.
YoLow is jointly sponsored by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, the College of Charleston, and the Charleston County School District. Some of the finest young musicians in the region are members of the group. Participants are chosen by an annual audition process.
Selections include Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, and Richard Strauss’s thrilling Feierlicher Einzug for brass, organ, and percussion. Guest artists include John Freeman, trumpet, Kathleen Wilson, harp, and Porter Remington, organ.
