Third Annual Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival – Charleston, S.C.

April 24, 2008 by etalentino

On May 2, 2008, the Visitors Center Bus Terminal in downtown Charleston will transform from 7 p.m. -11p.m. into a scene from Latin America with the kick-off of the third annual Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival. Guests are invited to sample local Mexican, Tex-Mex and Brazilian foods while relaxing with Cuervo margaritas and Mexican beer. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Trident Literacy Association.

The evening’s entertainment will include Mariachi music, a live salsa band, professional salsa and ballroom dancers. Top Latin hits from DJ. Luigi will finish out the night. For “Dancing with the Stars” enthusiasts, this is your chance to see talented dancers perform live and a chance to practice your own moves.
