Ever been eye to eye with a snake? Using our live collection, we will discuss the characteristics and dispel the myths that surround these beautiful creatures. You will learn how a snake moves, smells, hears, and other senses. Learn how to identify a venomous snake, the safe way! Answer all these questions and more as well as the opportunity for a hands-on snake experience under the supervision of our naturalist. The snakes presented in the program are non-venomous and native to the park

Savannah Scottish Games – Georgia
The Savannah Scottish Games takes place on Saturday, May 3 at Bethesda Home for Boys.
The Games include athletes, dancers, pipers, drummers, and shops offering Highland imports, crafts, books, music and traditional Scottish cuisine.

Moonlight Movies Series: Jaws – Jacksonville, Florida
And just when you we’re getting ready to go to the beach for a nice swim – SHARK!!! I think we better stay on the beach. At least if you’re taking your gang out for the Moonlight Movie Series. Of course, the first movie this season is the classic Jaws from 1975 with a young Roy Scheider and even younger-looking Richard Dreyfuss. This was director Steven Spielbergs first BIG movie hit!
