Charleston, SC – May 13, 2008 – Charleston Concert Association (CCA) has announced the dates for its 2008-2009 concert series. This year’s program, The World in Performance, includes a wide-range of performances including The Warsaw Philharmonic, Ballet Flamenco, Vienna Boys’ Choir Holiday Program, Joshua Bell, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet and Frederica Von Stade and Samuel Ramey. Wynton Marsalis with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will be the featured artists at the Encore Event. All shows begin at 8:00 p.m.

CCA’s mission is to bring classical to contemporary performances to Charleston, through a vast array of performers which include dance, opera, orchestral music, and jazz. “We are thankful to our season sponsor, Atlantic Bank and Trust for their continued support,†said Dunnan.
CCA is the Charleston’s oldest and only year-round, non-profit presenting arts organization. Founded in 1936, CCA has presented more internationally acclaimed artists and ensembles in Charleston than any other arts organization.
