A Survival Guide for Landlocked Mermaids
There’s a mermaid in every woman who longs to slip her tail on from time to time and vanish beneath the waves, leaving unwashed dishes, job and love life behind.
Mermaids often feel like fish out of water, striving to strike a balance between the intuitive, whimsical she-nymph and the domestic, more practical mermaid.
This beautiful gem of a book describes the struggle in a humorous and delightful way. It’s absolutely beautifully illustrated, a perfect gift for any woman’s coffee table – or nightstand. It would be a appreciated thoughtful gift to Mom or any of your girl friends.
As women, or mermaids, we often struggle to fit in. we try hard to be all things to all people. While reading the book, I often found myself smiling because I recognized myself, or my girl friends, in Margot’s mermaid illustrations.
