It doesn’t matter what kind of music you love – jazz, rock, folkmusic, opera. It doesn’ matter if you are a pro or an amateur, or a well-known bathroom singer, this is your chance to reach a new audience. Ponte Vedra Cultural Center is inviting you to participate in the inaugural Beaches Unplugged Summer Series at the Cultural Center where you will perform for accepting peers and local professional performers.
Please join us in the Courtyard at the Cultural Center at 50 Executive Way, PVB, FL for a wonderful, family-friendly evening of musical experiences. The Beaches Unplugged Summer Series is sponsored by Aimee and Dane Boggs and Hank Jewett. This special series will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday evenings – June 15, July 13 and August 10, 2008.
Local, regional and national musicians, professionals and amateurs are invited to schedule a performance during this upscale open-mike night. If you are interested in performing, bring your acoustic instruments or use our piano. No loud instruments, please. Beaches Unplugged musical host will have a microphone and sound system for your use and will make you feel very welcome on stage.
Performers must register by the Thursday evening before each performance by emailing Darrell Prather of VI Productions at dprather6of10@gmail.com or by calling 904-710-0397. Performances are limited to age 13 or older and should not exceed 8 minutes in length including setup and takedown.
Bring your family or bring your date! The community is invited to attend this free, innovative event. (BYOC – Bring Your Own Chairs.) The Cultural Center galleries will be open to the public.
