In the Service of Others Tour – Jekyll Island, GA

June 16, 2008 by Susanne Talentino

This special tour will give you a glimpse behind the door so to speak. In the past, not everyone on Jekyll Island enjoyed a life in luxury. Actually hundreds of working class men, women, and children were needed to make the millionaire lifestyle possible. In the Service of Others Tour explores the hidden world of the hired help at the upscale turn of the century resort.

June 17-August 7, 2008, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 am, approx. 90 minutes. $16 Adults, $7 Children 6-12, Free under 6.

For more information about daily tours and other specialty programs, contact the Jekyll Island Museum at 912-635-4036.
