Family Golf Month at World Golf Village

St. Augustine, Fla. – Slammer & Squire and King & Bear at World Golf Village will offer an entire month of activities and offers focused on helping families enjoy the game of golf – together. Throughout July, the official golf courses of the World Golf Hall of Fame will host a series of programs for family members to learn the game and play golf with special contests, exclusive pricing just for families and more. Snapping Turtle Tonca’s Birthday – Jacksonville, Florida

Help MOSH (the Museum of Science and History, Jacksonville) throw a blow-out birthday bash for its beloved 110-pound alligator snapping turtle, Tonca. Activities, which will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., include Tonca’s annual weigh-in, party games, and a birthday cake, of course!

Tour the Amelia Island Lighthouse – Fernandina, Florida

This is your chance to tour the lighthouse and see what it looks like on the inside. A shuttle leaves from the Fernandina Recreation Center on Atlantic Avenue and takes you directly to the lighthouse. But remember, you have to register in advance to participate.
