Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra: In the Key of G – Jacksonville, FL

September 29, 2008 by etalentino

Michael Krajewski, conductor
Ken Peplowski, clarinet
Scott Watkins, piano

Celebrate the 100th birthday of this legendary American bandleader, known as the “King of Swing,” “The Professor” and “Patriarch of the Clarinet” – the one and only Benny Goodman! To keep it in G, swing to Gershwin’s ever-popular Rhapsody in Blue with Jacksonville’s very own Scott Watkins. Event takes place at the Times-Union Center: Jacoby Symphony Hall from 8 pm to 10 pm.
