Jeff Christmas, conductor is the conductor when your Jacksonville Symphony performs in a tribute to one of the dominant forces in rock and popular music. Hear some of Elton John’s greatest hits, such as “Bennie And The Jets,” “Rocket Man,” “Your Song,” and “Tiny Dancer,” with the exceptional voices of Jean Meilleur and the amazing piano work of John Regan, backed by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

Prior to the concert on Saturday, October 11, OPUS (the JSO’s young professionals group) will host a free pre-concert reception for members of OPUS, Up and Cummers, Jacksonville Scene and MOCA Contemporaries. Pre-concert reception will be held in the Davis Gallery at the Times Union Center and will include free beer and wine and appetizers for members and up to one guest. Others outside of this membership are welcome for a $5 charge.
