Art Walk in St Augustine, Florida

November 3, 2008 by Susanne Talentino

This is one of St. Augustine’s most popular on-going cultural events. The First Friday Art Walk in St. Augustine offers the latest art exhibits, music, entertainment and refreshments at over 20 participating galleries – plus, great food courtesy of the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association. Tours start at Rembrandtz American Craft Gallery, 131 King Street. Galleries are open from 5 to 9 p.m. As an extra bonus St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys offer art walkers a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries. The San Marco Theatre across from Ripley’s Believe or Not! provides free showings of the historical St. Augustine film Cradle of History.
