Equinox Jazz, featuring Saxophonist Jeremy Davis is an organization that exposes this region to our state’s contribution to “America’s most original art form.” Equinox hosts concerts that are tremendously entertaining for listeners young and old. It’s also a voyage into the history of our music heritage.
For this very special event on Sunday November 23rd at 5:00 pm, tenor-man Jeremy Davis is joined by Savannah musicians:
Rick Lollar (guitar)
Dave Potter (drums)
Will Goble (bass)
Clay Johnson (trombone and vocals)
Jeremy Davis (Saxophone)
Jeremy Davis relocated to Savannah in September of 2005. As the leader of the 20 piece Equinox Jazz Orchestra, Jeremy has headlined theaters, festivals and music venues all across the Country. Jeremy’s work as the President of the Friends of Johnny Mercer allows him to pursue his passion for the great American songbook, tradition jazz standards and jazz education.
He has shared the stage with artist ranging from David Sanborn, Ellis Marsalis, Bill Watrous, Carl Fontana, Fred Wesley and Harry Waters to George Clinton, Govt Mule, Col. Bruce Hampton, Derek Trucks and many more.
