Chanukah in the Square 2008 – Charleston, SC
The Yaschik/Arnold Jewish Studies Program at the College of Charleston and Chabad of Charleston in cooperation with the Office of Cultural Affairs of the City of Charleston will once again present a citywide celebration of the festival of lights on Sunday, December 21st from 4:00-6:00pm in Marion Square Park.
Celebrating the first night of Chanukah, the festivities will include lighting of the first candle, live music, and a performance by the Jewish Choral Society. There will be jump castles, face painting, craft tables for children and adults where you can make your own dreidel, chanukiyah (menorah), and even donuts….plus more activities for everyone!
