June 15, 2008 by etalentino

There’s nothing more patriotic than seeing a line of decorated boats cruising down the creek for the Murrells Inlet Fourth of July parade. The boats will be decorated according to the theme (this years theme is; “Freedom is Great in 2008”) and parade around the inlet starting at 10 am at high tide.
Best spots to view the parade: Murrells Inlet Marshwalk, Capt. Dick’s Marina, Belin Memorial United Methodist Church, and Nance’s Restaurant and Hot Fish Club. Register at Capt. Dick’s Marina, Booty’s and Garden City Realty. Fireworks in the Inlet begin at 10 pm. The display can be seen from all vantage points on the inlet shores.
