A favorite end-of-the-month event, Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5pm to 9m the last Saturday of every month in the Uptown San Marco Shopping District, St. Augustine. 2008 Charleston International Film Festival – South Carolina
Charleston International Film Festival is a non-profit organization created to bring people together through the art and science of film, promote the exchange of ideas, a greater cross-cultural awareness and to inspire filmmakers from around the world.
The 1st Annual CIFF will bring attendees together for 4 days to attend premieres, panels, special events, after parties and deal making opportunities. The festival will showcase over 40 shorts, features and documentaries from around the world, screened at the premier art house, The Terrace Theatre. There will also be a screenplay competition.
On the 4th and final night of the festival, CIFF will present awards to the finest in filmmaking displayed during the competition in the Gold Ballroom at the Francis Marion Hotel.
