Savannah Record and Zine Fair

October 6, 2009 by Susanne Talentino

The Savannah College of Art and Design’s SCAD Radio and District present the third annual “Savannah Record and Zine Fair” on Oct. 24, 2009, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the River Club, 3 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. “For one day, we are happy to provide students and community members with a chance to dig through the crates and find cool music,” said Caila Brown, SCAD Radio general manager. “It will be a big day for collectors. We are also excited about bringing in the Zine Fair this year, as that event has been successful in the past. We anticipate a nice mix of people looking for music and folks who are into independent publishing.”

Dealers from around the Southeast will offer vinyl records, CDs, DVDs and music memorabilia. This year, the record fair has expanded to include comics, “‘zines” and other independent publications. To register to have a record table at the event, visit www.savannahrecordfair.com and fill out the registration form. corinna kopf only fans leaks To register to have a zine table at the event, visit www.scaddistrict.com and click on the Zine Fair banner. All proceeds from table rentals benefit the noncommercial operation of SCAD Radio and District.
