Shrimpin’ & Shaggin’ at Charleston Maritime Center
Put on your dancing shoes and bring the family to the 3rd Annual Shrimpin’ & Shaggin’ Festival. Shrimpin’ & Shaggin’ has become a new lowcountry tradition that promises to bring out all that is good about our area. State Park Hosts Union Garrison at Fort Clinch
-Visitors invited to interpretive program portraying soldier’s life in 1864-
FERNANDINA BEACH – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Fort Clinch State Park will host a Union Garrison event on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. The event will feature soldiers in period costume involved in marching drills, cooking and daily activities, allowing visitors to interact with living historians and experience life in the fort as it was in 1864.
