Build Your Own Scarecrow for Hay Days in St Marys

Hay Days comes to St. Marys October 11th and to kick-off the fun-filled family event, you can build your own Scarecrow. Come out and enjoy the fall season with your kids. Kids of all ages are invited to Build-A-Scarecrow at Orange Hall on Saturday, October 11th at 10:00 AM.
You’ll get your own Scarecrow kit for only $20. Some of the scarecrows will placed on display downtown, or you can choose to take your scarecrow home to bring a touch of autumn to your garden.

The main street of St. Marys will be decorated with scarecrows for Hay Days. Local merchants and organizations have a grand time coming up with the most innovative scarecrows.

The annual Hay Day festivities will continue through November 1st. The schedule of events is to be announced.

Ballroom & Latin Dancesport Competition – St Augustine, FL

World Event Ballroom and Latin Dance Competition
Ballroom and Latin dancers from around the U.S. and beyond will compete at the 18th Annual First Coast Classic Dancesport Competition for over $80,000 in cash prizes in St. Augustine, October 2-4, 2008.

Experience the glamour and excitement of a real live dance competition where you will see some of the nation’s top professional and amateur couples perform in their dazzling costumes, at the beautiful Renaissance Resort WGV.

The competition excitement heats up Thursday morning and continues all day and night through the weekend. Friday and Saturday evenings feature the pros performing electrifying dances such as the Cha-Cha, Salsa, Tango, Waltz and Jive, as they compete for the World Masters Title.
